I am not sure what paint you plan to use, but if it requires a primer, I really like Zinsser 123. Looks like...Your table looks fantastic - great job! Looks like a totally new table. I need to paint mine - but like you, I have that fear of "what if I mess up" holding me back. And now it's too cold to paint anything outdoors and I don't want all that mess indoors. Sooo...maybe next spring? :-) Have you tried the FODMAP diet yet? If you have IBS or any other digestive issues, I highly suggest and recommend it. You have nothing to lose except feeling horrible! It is not hard at all and feeling good is SO worth it.
