Tour The Little White House

Please keep in mind that this page, as well as the house, is very much under construction. It's going on line so you know that I'm working on it... But I'll keep editing it and improving it every weekend or so. And maybe, there will be one day when I'll remove those blue lines!!!

Hello!

Welcome to The Little White House, an old stone fisherman's cottage located in Brittany.

It has seen better days, but I'm commited to reveal its inner charm one project at a time.

Come inside that 1940's veranda. All the old houses around here had a porch like that one at the time. The Little White House still has it in all its glory. I have plans for that porch, but clearly, this is not a priority as you'll understand once you've stepped in. And please wipe your feet, as the floor is the main improvment I've done so far!

Here you are in the living-room where is also my home office.

The living-room as it is today, still an unpainted work in progress... But a little improved...

To the left when you came in are the dining-room (it used to be a bedroom, obviously)

and the kitchen.

The kitchen is very much my next project... but it will take time and several phases...

There is a small landing with four doors to:

• the spare bedroom;

• the bathroom;

• my bedroom;

• the loo: it might seem weird that it is the only completed project... But as I had never held a paint brush nor glued any wallpaper before buying this house, I thought it was safer to try my hand in a small room... Just in case I really messed it!

Everything is still going through renovation before being redecorated...
