High Tide

I'd like to thank everyone for all your kind comments about my kitchen window I showed you in my last post. It was really nice to read you thought I did well.

I still have a few projects to show you linked to that window, but being at my parents' this week, I just don't have the time I need to write those posts.

I'm also adjusting to a new laptop so everything takes a little longer than usual.

But I believe you can enjoy the break I'm taking from renovating as well. And head over to the beach with me.

My parents live in a seaside town called Dinard and this week, the tide was high at about noon, which made going to the beach a special treat.

Every picture was "one take" as usual with my camera who says "battery depleted" after five pictures, that's why I couldn't re-take that last one, even if my shadow isn't in the middle.

See you soon for the next episode of my kitchen window series!

  5. Beautiful beach. We just got home from a trip to the beach ourselves. Tristan and I went with my in-laws for a few days. It was a nice getaway. Hope you have a nice week with your parents.

  6. Oh how relaxing! I think most photos look best when the subject is not in the middle anyway! Great job!

  7. What a lovely beach (and how jealous am I that your parents live in such a beautiful place)! It's a sad thing when you see the low battery light flashing on the camera but you captured some beauties just in time :)

  21. I live near the beach (and would never want to move away) but it's not as pretty as yours, and it's covered in pebbles. Still, it's a beach and when the tide is out I love strolling along it with my dog.
I am intrigued by your shadow because it looks like you are wearing a hat and a great big coat ?!?
