Under The Spotlight

Saturday Spotlight At Junk Chic Cottage

Did I tell you that I would resume my Colour Of The Year series today? I lied! Well, not really.

A few months ago, Kris from Junk Chic Cottage, a blog I love reading, contacted me to know if I would be interested in being featured in her "Saturday Spotlight - Life Behind The Blogger" series.

Me? Featured among the amazing blogs she had already featured? Yes, yes, yes!

Moi? Oui, oui, oui!

My excitement met reality rather harshly when I tried to write a post about me, the one behind the blog... I began writing the post several times and then erased everything... I couldn't make it interesting somehow.

So I decided to let Cottage do the talking. The feature is now on, so you can head over to Kris at Junk Chic Cottage to see what he has to say!

A huge thank you to Kris for featuring the blog!

Un grand merci à Kris!

See you soon,

A bientôt,

  16. Bon jour Magali! I've had a wonderful time meeting you and Cottage and the fur babies! Your journey reminds me of one of my favorite movies, Under the Tuscan Sun, only your story takes place in beautiful France. You have transformed Cottage into a treasure box. I know, there's so much more to do, but what an amazing job you've done! Your kitchen transformation is amazing Magali. I can hardly wait to see what you and Cottage decide to work on when spring arrives!!

    Bisous, Edie Marie

    1. Merci!

  28. Okay, so cottage I had no idea you were a "he"....really? And, you were quite articulate, well done. I think we need to see more of that stone wall. Hmmm...loving that.

  29. Just read cottages story. Is cottage a he? Kathleen in Az

    1. In my mind, Cottage has always been a "he", even if I've noticed my readers think differently... But in French, it's a masculine noun and also, we are a couple, where I'm the dreamer and Cottage is the down-to-earth person who reminds me that a few things are impossible!
